this demo is based off of an old 1200 baud internet modem made by justin dolske. it is a way to transfer data via sound over your aux cord in the same way that internet modems used to work. I cleaned up, simplified, and fixed the broken parts of the code and adapted it for modern browsers.
this modem runs at 1600 baud max, or 1600 bits per second, or a measely 0.2 kb per second. I am looking for someone to please look at the code and help me find ways of making it run faster and be able to handle larger amounts of data. modems in the early 2000s ran around 40-50kb which is much much faster.
if you are able to help me please email me at zoeyaga1997@protonmail.com
